An interview from back in the day
Here’s an interview I had with Conduct Lionheart back in 2005:
From his work in the MLA (Modurn Languaj Asosiashun) to his upcoming uber-collaboration (Knowknauts) with LOSPE’s own Insomniaddict, Micronaut…we have Pac0naut aka Cerdaphide. I met this guy through sphereofhiphop.com (LOSPE’s birthplace) and we’ve been tight friends for a long while. He’s got some big projects, upcoming with YSG-Timothy and others but i felt like having a interview with the guy, in my usual manner. sit back and enjoy as i talk to one talented producer and all around dope guy. -Conduct Lionhardt

Thank you A.S.U. Civil Engineering!
So, coming home from the M.L.A meeting last night (which was NORTH of I-10), I discover that Dysart Road is closed at I-10. I live SOUTH of I-10. So, not ONLY is Dysart closed, but so is AVONDALE BLVD., LITCHFIELD ROAD, AND ESTRELLA PARKWAY. Are you freaking kidding me? So I have to get on I-10 and get off on Bullard and go BACK to Dysart because of these morons.
Thanks, you wonderful group of civil engineers. Brilliant!
Buncha jerks.

You know,
Bad news: I STILL haven’t listened to all those records from the March post. Dang I’m slippin.
Good news: Foreknown’s album is ready to drop! WORD! You can peep the pac0naut produced Children of a Lesser Blog on there. Actually, you can also hear that song here. Actually, I may put this song up for download when I get home.
I’m really digging this blogging stuff.

So, what’s on deck?
So, what the HECK have I been cooking up in the lab on the late night tip? Well, first off, the project with Kers will be done shortly. At least the beats will be. I really want to do a rock type project with him. At least that’s going to be the direction of it. I’m really hyped about it. The tentative title will be “A Long Time Coming” due to the fact we’ve known each other for so long (about 7 or 8 years now), we’ve lived together, cried together, uplifted each other, overcome adversity together, and have just been a part of each others worlds for a long time. We’ve both had our projects and have done a few cuts together, like the Head Above Water (click it dummy) title track, but now it’s time for us to do a whole project together. Trust me, it’s worth the wait. We both have had to hone our crafts to get to where we’re at skillwise.
Another project I’m hyped about is something that’s about done with Maja. I can’t reveal too much about it yet, but it’s a theme project. If you want the stains out now, get the BLEACH.
Oh, and I gave THIS guy a beat a few weeks ago…….Aw yeeeeeeeeaaaaaah!
Also, I’ll be working with Dan $mack from A.S.O.M. Records. He’s super dope.
Mannatone has a few tracks from me as well….
The KnowNauts - Somewhere Between Here and There and A Bridge to the Desert dropping sometime in the 2000’s. Freaking Micro. Just because he’s in first place* in our fantasy baseball league, he thinks he can quit writing lyrics. He’d rather pick up Jeff Francouer (who *I* dropped) off of waivers than write**.
* - I’m jealous…..I WAS in first for a while. Now I’m in second, so I’m just hating.
** - I was actually going to re pick him back up if he cleared waivers, but Micro was up at the crack of dawn.

Sorry………
I’ve had some ideas brewing for the blog, but between work, school, and production I just haven’t had enough time. I promise it’ll never happen again…..at least until the next time. I’m going to post some music I’ve produced on here…soon. music from Kers, Random, the Bar Wars Project, The KnowNauts, Ahrythmatik, and others.
In fact…………pac0naut and Random…..

One Half of a Second or Less (a.k.a. A Labor Of Love.)
Producing albums and making beats is very similar to having a jealous mistress. Sometimes it’s the most rewarding thing for me, and other times it’s the most frustrating thing ever. Read more

Random’s Patches and Glue release party @ The Hidden House Part 1
This had to be one of the dopest shows I’ve ever seen. Ever. I’ll write more and edit this, but I’m exhausted. It’s been a long week. The crowd was HOT and all artists ripped it. Much props to everyone performing. I walked out with like 10 CD’s…I miss going to shows! So, to hold you over, here’s some pics:

New stuff that you should probably know…..
So, a little while ago Random hit me up to do a few beats for an upcoming project. He sent me a few of the master sessions for Marvin Gaye and asked me to flip them…I got 3 done on Friday. First time working at the beats for a while! I’ll see if I can get some more done soon. I can’t wait until the semester is DONE!
Oh yeah, LakaI and Mannotone now have tracks from me….aw yeah!
PS: I got my bass guitar back!!!! YES!!!!! I haven’t touched it in God knows how long, but it’s good to have it back! Maybe I can pick it back up again and incorporate it in some beats….

Adverse @ The Hidden House 03.24.08
Whew….finally got to go to a show. Haven’t been to one in quite a while and it’s sucked. Work, school, etc. etc. You know, life. I’m REALLY glad I actually got to go to this. Met up with Random, DN3, Maja, and Novelty. Random opened up the show and my crew Orchestra went on next with Equal Opportunity leading the way. Adverse….ladies just LOVE Adverse. Everyone ripped it. What a great night! I felt it in the A.M., but it was worth it. I also picked up Random’s LP The Call (FINALLY!) and Maja’s Amalgam Project. Listened to Maja’s for a bit now….haven’t gotten Random’s in but that’ll be soon!
