This project was the first EP I ever handled the production on it by myself.  It’s extremely special to me in the fact that it pretty much put me on the map.  We released this in two trilogies (like the movies), 3 tracks each plus a bonus track from YSG.  We each took Star Wars names for this and it turned out pretty cool.  We ended up making Editor’s Pick (even though their review made NO sense at ALL) on Cnet’s download.com when we released it.  I know a lot of people that bump this STILL, and you should too.  This was a quality project that we’re all very proud of.  We made a myspace page for volume 1 and volume 2.  Basically, I did all the beats for it, Micro did all the artwork, Sean P did the Cuts, Change did the mixing and mastering, and of course YSG did most of the emceeing.  I actually have a vocal spot on the last track.  We put out Volume 1 New Years Day of 2006 if I remember correctly.  The main players were as follows:

This is the pretty cool part.  Nobody knows how many people actually HAVE these tracks.  I’ve burned numerous CD’s over the years and gave them out since this was a free project to pretty much promote ourselves and our skills.  The great thing is, we’re all pretty much working together still.  YSG and I have a project coming up (most likely next year, you’ll love it), Micro and I are still the KnowNauts, and I did the Mount Up track on Change’s album.  The breakdown of the track downloads are as follows:

For some reason we didn’t get as many hits on the second page, which is crazy because I personally thought the last 3 tracks were the standout in the story.   It wrapped up the whole rise and fall of YSG seamlessly.  So without futherdelay, I give you the Bar Wars Project!  Selah was the bonus track released with Volume 1.
